The grail of our ale drinking year is naturally Bishops Castle on a warn sunny July weekend, and after the rain it was looking as if it was going to be a very wet one this year. But we were pleasantly surprised that this year it was sunny, in fact Shaun even went a little red and i went a little brown
The beer was great and we even got to see one of the best live bands that i have seen for a long time. They made the crowd laugh they told jokes and they played great songs. After a couple of nights like this, we would wander (or stumble) back to the tent or caravan (whichever you were in). The camping site was a little poor to say the least but it was walking distance to Bishops Castle
But at £10 a night for a tent, with 4 loo's, in temperay cabin, for a camping site that could sleep hundreds (3 camping fields) but the worst thing was that it only had 3 showers. One for ladies, one for men and also a family one, surprisingly there was a que!
All in all a very good weekend
