  • Finally a peaceful nights sleep

    At long last i had the house to myself and settled down at a reasonable hour to get some sleep. All went well until about 6 am, when i was awoken by the internal alarm going off and to my joy the external one as well, shit!

    After a bit of a mad panic trying to find my glasses i run down stairs, turn all the lights on and reset the alarm (this turns it off). I should add we don't leave the alarm on at night, so it was going off alone!

    I drag myself back into bed, fully aware that i have a 6 hour shit tomorrow of pulling cages and lifting boxes and mainly just walking miles. Sleep soon comes and i snuggle into my lovely bed. 30 mins or so latter, i am awoken again with the alarm, this happens once more before i decide this is getting a little ridiculous! I grab my quilt and pillow and set up bed on the sofa down stairs, just round the corner from the alarm. Another two times it goes off but by about 7.30 the alarm decides it will finally let me sleep.

    Id like to say this was the first time but it sadly is not, along with coutless times it has gone off in the evening it seems to target me in the middle of the night when im in the house alone! Last Saturday, me and Shaun woke to it going off around 12am several times.

    SO what to do, i finally decided that i wanted a un interupted nights sleep last night so... i took a screw driver to the alarm :D It now looks a little like this

    Few have been introduced to my little joy, my bike (cycle that is) ... i have had him for a few years now and at the lovely price of £99 he was a real bargain!

    He is not as flashy as some peoples bikes (not naming any names:roll:) but he does me well, when i feel the need for some kinda of speed and adrenalin :D

    The brakes work for one, which i always find is the most important bit of the bike, but then again the tryres are not the best, it has a rather nice squeek when i brake hard, the gears take about half a minuet (most of the time) to change and the chain has a habbit of comming lose every now and then. But it's not all bad.. in fact i would not change it .. well not right now :DD

    Here he is ;

  • New blog

    Right with me doing cooking next year... and enjoying typing on the mac a little too much, i have decided to open another blog!

    This one is not a personal one, and is going to hold recipes for kids and adults young at heart. There seem to be loads of blog for just general recipes, and well with doing guides and brownies you kinda get the idea that kids love getting messy so here is a load of recipes that they can do :D Plus its not too difficult to start with a cooking blog for kids ;)

    Enjoy

    Perhaps i am being silly, perhaps i am not, which ever way i feel fine but not fine. I feel like the days, the weeks and the months have sped by since christmas and well i find myself looking forward to the summer, to the winter and to next christmas.

    But then perhaps thats just me being silly, i mean i have always been one of these people who keep busy.. perhaps i don't like to stop, but now i find myself being drawn to one thing, one person i want to spend time with. Im not a person who is soppy (not really anyway) i don't tell people much about myself if they don't want to know.. i'm happy just listening to them and what ever they want to talk about but, i feel like i want to tell everyone (but i'm not) that the last four months seems to have gone past in a flash and i cant remember feeling as happy as i do now.. so there we go a soppy moment and you will not catch me having another one of these until... well at least till the next one :s And i know it sounds stupid to write this on a blog but well i have to say something, :)
